Strengthening Our Union for the 21st Century
NZEI Annual Meeting 2009 will debate proposals for a range of organisational changes. These changes are about ensuring people have the opportunity to participate and become more involved at all levels. It’s about making sure we plan and resource our activities and that we’re accountable for them.
The proposed changes follow a process of consultation with members to clarify the purpose and types of change required. Four key areas for change have been identified:
Greater Accountability,
How We Come Together,
How We Govern Ourselves,
How We Operate At the Local Level.

Hi Chris,
Whart are the union's goals for 2009/10 please. I would like these fairly specific as I am interested in re-formulating draft templates for our next meeting using these goals as the goal for each template and thenm play around getting it all sector specific.
