Members at Annual Meeting voted to introduce Greater Accountability
by linking branch, aronui tomua, komiti pasifika and district
council funding to activity. NZEI Te Riu Roa structures will now
need to develop a plan linked to union priorities in order to
access funding. These plans will need to be signed off by Area
Councils or National Executive. Members at Annual Meeting
participated in workshops to begin the process of developing the
planning templates and models they will use. A summary of member
feedback on proposals for planning formats is presented below. This
