Annual Meeting has voted to transform district councils into area
councils and to enable members to propose changes to how existing
Area Councils are comprised and to suggest the formation of new
Area Councils. Members at Annual Meeting workshopped some of the
issues around what makes an effective Area Council, the criteria
for new Area Councils and how Area councils should work together.
